Jai (Fardeen Khan) is an undercover cop while Veeru (Khemu) is a small time crook. Jai befriends Veeru to get to the big fish, an underworld don played by Arbaaz Khan. When Veeru comes to know of Jai's status during a 'Pick up' of counterfeit notes, he accidentally shoots him in the head. It's no surprise Jai survives.
